Chapter one focuses on
modeling which is a mathematical structure that approximates phenomena for predicting the behavior of something. There are three main models
numerical using numbers,
algebraic using variables and numbers and
graphical models using a graph. In this project I will be finding which
function, a linear, quadratic, cubic or quartic, bits fit our scatter plot for the number of diagonals polygons have. We will use by finding the
r coefficient is the measure of how the function best fits the points.
