Ch 4 project How to solve problems with trigonometry
In Ch. 4 we learned about the 6 trigonometric functions. They arose from ratios formed within a right triangle. There's sine, cosine, tangent, cosecant, secant, and cotangent. We could use these functions to find missing angles, height, distance, length, and even the hypotenuse. The type of problem I made up was an indirect measurement. I solved the problem by using the trigonometric functions I learned from Ch. 4.

Chapter 4 Project: solving Word Problems with Trigonometry
In Chapter 4 we learned about the six trig functions:
- opposite/hypotenuse=sine
- adjacent/hypotenuse=cosine
- opposite/adjacent=tangent
- hypotenuse/opposite=cosecant
- hypotenuse/adjacent=secant
- adjacent/opposite=cotangent
